Ingredients you will need for 1 1 / 2- 2 kg of tomato jam

  • 1 kg leftover matured tomatoes
  • 750gr sugar
  • 3 pinches salt
  • 1 pinch pepper
  • cumin as much as you want
  • 1/2 liter water

Preparation

Step 1

Cross the tomatoes at the bottom and put them in boiling water for 30 seconds.
Then transfer them to a bowl of iced water.
With that process tomatoes are very easily peeled.
Cut them into small pieces.  

Step 2

Boil the tomatoes in 1/2 liter of water with sugar, salt, pepper and cumin over high heat.After a while,lower the heat and cook until the liquidity is as you prefer it.
Refrigerate in sterilized jar for a long time!
